Patrick,
Let me state for the record — because spending time writing it out on a website is pointless — that what you’ve written here is nothing more than defamation:
- CAI’s Board of Trustees is so concerned about me that they actively voted to remove me as a member. There were formal letters and a hearing and everything. Your suggestion that I am somehow aligned with CAI is completely false.
- Moreover, attempting to pick apart legislation from other states that merely serves as a citation to bolster efforts to pass material reforms in other jurisdictions — all of which recommendations are written in plain language and readily copyable and downloadable — serves no purpose.
Your lack of technology skills, general frustration with community associations and desire to literally undo the fabric of community association constructs has led you to substitute your own fantasies as facts. What’s most concerning is that your efforts with HRLNG and made-up nonsense might help sink reasonable, well-regarded efforts to create reforms that can stand the test of time. You’ve proven unable and unwilling to promulgate true reforms and so you’ve lashed out at those folks like myself and Raelene — who have put in the hard work and earned their place — in a “hail mary” hope that discrediting reputable people and organizations will help your misguided efforts succeed.
The arguments and enmity that you’ve created and suggested as “reforms” are nothing more than a rambling, ranting list of demands. In fact, you haven’t actually proposed any legislation (the page is blank) whatsoever. Legislative proposals take concepts to another level that can be adopted into law. You’ve drafted a list of complaints with potential solutions so far afield that no reasonable state legislature will ever enact them.
Regards,
Steve Horvath
